About Me

Hi! I’m Lauren, a 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga and meditation teacher in Calgary, Alberta.

My goal is to share conscious, mindful practices that help you ground in your body and align to your fullest potential. I teach with calm and precise language and my classes are a combination of meditation, breathwork, functional movement, and dynamic sequencing. With a background in Vinyasa, Restorative, Hatha, and Katonah yoga, I offer this practice to help build awareness, relax the nervous system, and connect to what matters most.

I am quirky and energetic and yoga has been my passion for a long time. I am so excited to share this practice with you and the lessons and teachings it has given me on a physical, energetic and spiritual level.

I completed my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 in Goa, India with an Advanced Katonah Yoga Teacher Training complete in 2019 in Pantelleria, Italy. I went on to complete my 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Portugal in 2024.

I found yoga towards the end of my gymnastics career to stay connected to movement and my body. It didn’t take long before I started diving into the many other benefits of this practice. Not only was I receiving the physical benefits in my body and enjoying the creative exploration of movement, but I was noticing a shift in my mindset and inner awareness as well. I started to be able retreat from the chaos of my mind and step into a safe haven. This practice opened a whole new opportunity to approach life and really allowed me to start trusting myself again.

Now, this practice allows me to live intentionally, mindfully and more grounded. I found yoga when I needed it most and I want to be able to share all the blissful benefits with you. Whether you have a developed practice or have never done yoga before, let’s connect.
